I try to tag everything fairly consistently.
FDA set to ban gay men as sperm donors
To the dismay of gay-rights activists, the Food and Drug Administration is about to implement new rules recommending that any man who has engaged in homosexual sex in the previous five years be barred from serving as an anonymous sperm donor.
The FDA has rejected calls to scrap the provision, insisting that gay men collectively pose a higher-than-average risk of carrying the AIDS virus. Critics accuse the FDA of stigmatizing all gay men rather than adopting a screening process that focuses on high-risk sexual behavior by any would-be donor, gay or straight.
This is so stupid. Why can’t they just test the guys before they give sperm? It doesn’t make ANY sense not to. I mean, they have to test for other diseases anyway, including mental illness history. So why WOULDN’T they already be testing for AIDS?? They’re just trying to justify bigotry. They’ve got to be.

So I wore my gay pride shirt to school today.
And in chemistry class I was talking to my friend, Jack, about a gay pride festival I went to. My teacher, stupid nosy bitch, decides she wants to join in on the conversation. She asks me what I’m talking about so I turned around and her reaction was to make a noise of utter disgust. She asked me to go to the main office and get a different shirt. But being the rebel that I am, I told her very politely “no, if you don’t like it you don’t have to look at it. It’s my shirt, not yours, and there’s nothing wrong with it.” She told me again that I needed to change my shirt. I said again that I wasn’t and she told me she would have to send me to my administrator for direct disrespect. So I put on a big smile and packed my stuff up while she wrote the discipline report up.
But the thing that made me so happy that I didn’t give in and change was that as I was walking out the door a girl in my class stood up and started to walk with me. My teacher was kinda pissed and told her that she would get a write up if she didn’t sit down. And this girl, she is my fucking hero. She says: “Write me up then. It’s one more story that I can go home and tell my mothers. And I’m sure my girlfriend would love to hear it, too.” Then she smiled and walked out. I just felt the need to share what happened today with my lovely followers.
this is amazing

I Would Like To Point Out That…
Oreo is a Nabisco brand. So if Oreo supports gay rights, then perhaps the whole of Nabisco does as well. And if that is the case, then there’s a whole lot of other brands the bigots would have to boycott.
Dear people boycotting Oreos for supporting gay rights:
The following companies also support gay rights:
Coca-Cola (which manufactures Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Fanta, Vitamin Water, and Dasani)
Gap (which also owns Banana Republic and Old Navy)
Gerber Baby Products
Pepsico (which manufactures Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist, Sobe Life Water, Lipton Iced Tea, Amp energy drinks, and Aquafina)
Procter and Gamble (which manufactures literally almost all home/bath products you buy at the grocery store)
Walt Disney Company
Looks like you have a lot to boycott.

Willard M. Romney is unfit for command.
I also think we should all be demanding his birth certificate, his school transcripts (K-12 and University), his medical records, and, last but certainly NOT least, every single tax return he has ever filed.

Mary Jamis, a lesbian woman, was ARRESTED yesterday after she and her partner sought a marriage license in North Carolina.
Share this if you think it’s outrageous.
Arrested for attempted marriage? Excuse me?
Ok while the whole idea of getting arrested because they were trying to get married is fucking ludicrous, at the same time, it was just made illegal. It was big news and everyone knows about it, including them, I’m sure. If you go do something illegal, you get arrested. I don’t agree with the idea of gay marriage being illegal obviously, but you have to have some sense and realize that though NC made a stupid decision on a law, they still have to uphold it, because it’s the law. You break it, they have to prosecute.
I hope these women get released and move elsewhere where they can marry and be a loving family in peace with the same rights as anyone else, because NC? This is ridiculous.
Actually, homosexual marriage has been banned in NC for a long time. What they did was take away rights for domestic unions- INCLUDING those of heterosexuals. Now only MARRIAGES get all the benefits. No civil unions, REGARDLESS of sexual orientation.

I support gay rights.
No, I think you misunderstood, I am heterosexual, but I don't see anything wrong with people who aren't the same as me, I think they deserve the same respect as the rest of us.
Faggot. You're going to hell.
Kay cool, brb gonna go kick a dog.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? It's just a dog it's not hurting anybody, why are you being so cruel to it?
Oh lol wow didn't know you were a dog. Freak...
I'm not a dog...
Well obviously you are, why else would you being trying to stand up for dogs if you're not a dog?
Wow, don't you know you can stand up for something without being it?
